Covid 19 Policy
I have taken a full review of hygiene, cleaning practices and business procedures to ensure that I can offer you treatments in a safe environment.
I will hopefully be re-opening very soon subject to Government approval. I will be offering all treatments and have taken a full review of hygiene, cleaning practices and business procedures to ensure that I can offer you treatments in a safe environment.
I have undertaken training from Barbicide and the World Health Organisation in recognising Covid 19 symptoms, procedures to be followed, and personal and client hygiene and safety.
The following additional cleaning and hygiene procedures will now be in place.
A plastic couch cover will be used and wiped down with antibacterial spray after each treatment.
A plastic floor covering will be used and clients will be asked to only place bare feet on this which will be disinfected after each treatment.
The room will be cleaned after each client and all surfaces and therapy equipment disinfected including and not restricted to door handles, trolley, card payment machine, pens, clipboards, toilet and sink area, and any other areas and items that the client has or may come into contact with.
All towels and blankets used during a treatment will be replaced after each treatment.
I will also be introducing the following procedures.
As per guidelines I will be wearing a face mask and a face shield.
PPE gloves will be work if reiki is performed.
It is recommended that a disposable face mask is worn by a client and I will have a supply available for your use.
Clients will be requested on entering the premises to sanitise their hands with the sanitiser provided.
Please bring a bottle of water with you to drink after your treatment as I am no longer permitted at present to offer refreshments.
I will request that if possible payment is made in advance by BACS or by debit card using the card reader machine in my premises.
I would politely ask that no one attends an appointment should they feel unwell in any way and in particular if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms; a high temperature, a new or persistent cough, loss of smell or taste, any cold or flu like symptoms, if you or anyone you have been in contact with has been tested positive for Covid 19.
Social distancing will be observed at all times.
By following these steps I can ensure that you receive your treatment in a safe environment. Now more than ever do we need to relax, restore and rebalance our mind, body and spirit. I look forward to welcoming you back to Harmony Holistic Therapies.
